Celebrating International Women’s Day with NIDO

NIDO UK Chapter in conjunction with NIDO Europe cordially invites you to a special online conference in celebration of International Women’s Day 2025. We will be convening on Saturday 8th of March to discuss the work that is still needed to realize the goals of female equality and social action, with a lens of accelerating future projects to assist in this global mission. We encourage all members, friends, and supporters to join us for a thought-provoking discussion featuring an esteemed panel of speakers. As an organisation, we value the participation of all members and seek to build a community of thought leaders that work together to drive our mission.

Distinguished Speakers Leading the Discussion

We are thrilled to announce a dynamic panel of guest speakers, who are leading voices in health, governance, academia, media, and law enforcement. Each speaker has a unique perspective to offer, informed by their experience of promoting female inclusion in Nigeria and across the world. The speakers include: Dr. Mrs. Kemi Ogunyemi, SA to Governor of Lagos State on Health; Hon Dr. Dola Oluteye, SA to The Hon Minister For Marine and Blue Economy; Dr. Paraskevi Katsaounou, Professor of Pulmonary Medicine University of Athens; Dr. May Ikeora, Editor in Chief Raising Women Magazine; and Dr. Nonye Welle, Asst. Commisioner of Police, FCT Abuja. Together, they represent an amazing collection of highly skilled and motivated leaders. We encourage you to join us in supporting their inspiring work, and to join us in this vital global conversation.
